According to the National Building Code of Canada , in order for a spray polyurethane product to be installed in Canada, it must be evaluated by the Canadian Construction Material Centre (CCMC) and the person must be certified, trained and must follow the requirements of a quality assurance and training program.

BASF Canada (BASF) offers a unique Quality Assurance and Training Program (QATP) to ensure its spray polyurethane products are installed according to industry standards and BASF guidelines. Contractors are monitored to ensure that they follow the stringent requirements of the CAN/ULCS705.2. BASF uses Morrison Hershfield for its QAP Program.
